Carolans French Toast
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup milk
- 1/3 cup Carolans Irish Cream
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract
- Butter
- 12 slices of bread
- Toasted almonds
- Powdered sugar
Time
Cooking Time of 5 minutes
Instructions
In a shallow bowl mix milk, Carolans, eggs and almond extract. Melt butter in a large skillet. Dip bread in egg mixture, coating both sides.
Cook in butter until both sides are golden brown. Serve immediately with toasted almonds and powdered sugar.
Makes 4 three-slice servings.
