Carolans Minis

Carolans is manufactured and produced in Ireland in accordance with Hygienic and Sanitary Regulations outlined by Irish Departments of Health and Agriculture. Representatives from both Departments periodically inspect the manufacturing process.

The Quality of Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur is continuously monitored and is kept in accordance with the quality of samples already approved for exportation.

Quality Control on the production and filling process is carried out in accordance with the requirements of specifications and sampling plans as detailed in our Quality / Food Safety Manual. First off, the product is tested and tasted every morning and at each batch changeover. Carolans is taste tested by the expert sensory panel. The National Standards Authority of Ireland have conducted independent audits of our Food Safety, Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental systems and have awarded Carolans the following international standards:

  • ISO 9001:2000 (International Quality Systems)
  • ISO 22000:2005 (International Food Safety Standard including HACCP)
  • ISO 14001:2004 (International Environmental Standard)
  • OHSAS 18000 (International Occupational Health & Safety Assessment System)
